How to protect my kids against the sun on the beach
When it comes to the sun, we are not all equal. While the consequences of sunburn are quite harmless for adults, this is not the case for children and infants. For children, sunburn and exposure to the sun's rays without any protection can cause irreparable harm to the skin's defence system and the damage to cells is definitive. In this case, the risk of developing skin cancer in later life is significantly higher.
Children can avoid sunburn by wearing protective clothes that are specially adapted to infants. Anti-UV tops, water T-shirts, hats and caps all help to protect your children against the sun from top to toe.
But be careful. Not all anti-UV clothes are equally efficient, and only those with the "UPF50+" mark provide maximum protection against UVB rays.
